A typical cloudless sky leaves the Soul Society victim to the blaring sunlight as the time approaches mid-day. Shadows at their peak loom, as the common quiet nature of the Seireitei has no intention of changing today. Though as with all days events occur even in their most insignificant forms, as small events play out without the general populace being none the wiser.. In confidence we take interest in one of those events now. A young Shinigami takes it upon herself to learn more away from the confining books and repetitive lectures, being told enough of what dangers lurk upon uninvited guests. Thankfully for the sake of her interests she is about to learn first hand the hospitality the Gotei divisions have to offer.
' said her small voice in response, the two at the gate simply smiled in acknowledgement before going back to their own conversation, only for one to look up at the gate, the woman perched happily on its side as she peered over into the barracks.雨the rays of light crisscross夜going forever without saying where they're headed安
達'Absolutely not!'
The defiant male voice said moments after the woman's suggestion. 'You think you can just waltz around the place and nose in on other peoples business?' The woman in question simply crossed her arms with a huff, raising her head as she looked away. 'I just don't see how reading books of that past are going to help me understand what's going on now.' The man tilted his head, circling his finger against his temple as a drawn out sigh followed, its simple sound sending a slight echo across the large hall. 'Only through knowing the past can somo-' his repetitive tone in his voice was quickly mimicked by the woman as she rolled her eyes in synchronisation. 'Can someone suspect the future, you have told me a thousand times.' a small smirk appeared on his face, despite her neglect towards the basic ways of education her obsessive attitude still left her remembering every word she had heard or read. 'But If I'm going to be fighting alongside these people I need to know what they are capable of, these books.. They only scratch the surface.' 'As intended, if we are to coincide with one another we must hide our troubles which could otherwise break this unity.' She lowered her head at the countless sound responses to her pleas, as she felt a hand fall upon her shoulder. 'Though to truly fight as one, we must be as if one person..' The hand left her, as the slow footsteps patted against the flooring and away from her. 'Such a contradicting..' She held her tongue, unknown of anyone who may be silent enough to avert her lazy observance of the area. Though she pondered over what he had said, and in the end concluded it as a challenge.
That discussion was a day ago, the event playing in her mind as she strolled a distance away from Second Division territory; its walls spanning the giant offices inside. It's Golden aura would make the place eye-catching to anyone, despite not knowing this Amaya's interests were peaked none the less. She took a seat quite a distance from the gate itself, leaning against the wall as her eyes snapped from one side to another as she observed the goings on around her, fiddling with her hair as the two standing by the gate continually turning their attention to her from simple habit. They were met with a cold stare, something which they commonly saw as a thing to avoid, though none the less a small woman watching their divisions gate ate away at their patience. 'Hey! You there!' one of the men said loudly to stretch across the quiet distance between them. 'Not a very good place to be sight-seeing if you don't want to get into trouble!' Their advice as if from one comrade to another, which it was really. None the less she giggled at the choice of words before raising her hand as a sign of acknowledgement. 'I'm just taking a break! I'll be moving in a moment!
'What the? What are you doing?' One exclaimed as the other looked back to the obviously empty spot of where she used to be, looking back with a shocked face to join his friend. 'The shade over there was pestering me, The shadow of this rooftop is a lot more reliable.' The two took a more serious step towards her, their faces cautious as they placed their hands towards their weapons. 'Relaxing? Or spying!?' Amaya didn't look back, only the sound of her pondering noises could be heard over her shoulder. 'Relaxing.' Despite her pacifist appeal towards the intimidation of the two, they didn't back down, taking a step forward as they continued. 'Well relax somewhere else! You know people don't like others nosing around in their barracks!' despite not being seen by the two, Amaya rolled her eyes and hopped off the gate, landing softly between them as they flinched at her sudden movement. 'And what secrets do the second hide, eh? Mutiny? Civil war? Prisoners?' The two's men raised a brow, tacking her as she walked between and past them. Funnily enough she had learnt enough from this moment alone, and the stubbornness of the Divisions were exactly fitting to what she had been warned of. She couldn't help but ponder over why such a unified system would be so distant outside anywhere but the battlefield. 'You know we can't just let you take a peek as you please then be on your way. With that speed of yours you could have been inside and back without us even noticing.' She stopped in her exit, turning with a confused look no her face. 'If I was some sort of spy, don't you think I would kill you? Or even reveal my activity's to the common watch?'
The two took another step, but now in her new direction as a look of worry plastered their face. 'Either way, we cannot know for sure. We'll have to take you in to find out.' A childish clap followed as she presented her hands to them. 'Go in? Oh if you insist..' The two looked to one another before looking back. 'We didn't mean inside the barracks..' Her arms flopped to her sides, a puff of air from her mouth causing a strand of hair to dance as she rolled her eyes. 'You really had me going there..' The two approached, seemingly by the tone in their voice more worried of their carelessness rather than the actions of the Amaya, she simply presumed it was what whatever higher-up's would do to them if word got out that people were prancing around their quarters. Quite frankly Amaya thought they were horribly exaggerating, their hands on their weapons, ready for her to turn into a giant witch and blast fire-balls at them. 'You guys really need to relax..' she said quietly as the two didn't seem to want to just let her walk away all nice like.
How did she ever get herself into situations like this.
