The sun was just breaking over the horizon. It wasn't long before the sun's warm glow of the sun's rays started to wash over the little sleeping town of Karakura and soon covered it in it's light. The sun's rays slowly creeped into Aya's room. She slowly opened her eyes and sat up. Aya stretched and yawned sleepily. She looked over at the glowing red numbers of her alarm clock, they read 8:35. Aya sighed and flopped back down onto her plush pink covers.
Her long, soft honey colored hair pooled all around her and covered most of her back. Aya wasn't a morning person, so it was very rare to catch her up this early. She hardly ever went to school, so she never got up for class. Aya's attendance record was almost non-existent because she only showed up twice every month. And even though she never attended class, Aya managed to stay at the top of her class. Thanks to the Ryugan that is.
Aya sighed and rolled out of bed. She wore a powder blue nightgown, patterned with tiny pandas. The nightgown stopped just above her knees. Aya changed her clothes. she grabbed a soft grey mini skirt from the closet and slipped it on. Along with a short sleeve, white button up shirt.
She didn't have work today. So she decided she would go take a walk around the park and maybe get something sweet. Aya licked her lips slightly at the promise of food. She put on a pair of brown penny loafers and headed out the door.
Aya had to admit it was nice to be up this early. The sun wasn't as high in the sky. So it wasn't nearly as hot as the afternoon, there was a cool breeze and the birds were all singing happily and chirping with delight. Shops were just opening up and business men and women were on their way to work. Aya waved and said hi to many people on her way.
Aya was halfway to the park when her nose caught the delicious scent of freshly made crepes. Her stomach growled it's approval and before she knew it she found herself buying a chocolate one. Aya munched on her treat happily. She turned on her heel and headed towards the park.
The park was always lovely. There were flowers everywhere and nice big trees that provided ample shade. It was Aya's favorite place besides Urahara's shop of course. Eventually Aya made it to her destination. She walked along the hiking trail that bordered the park's perimeter and hummed a sweet melody to herself.
Aya made her way to one of the big trees and sat underneath it. She rested against it's large trunk, her legs tucked underneath her. Aya tilted her head up toward the sky and watched the clouds pass through the leaves. The sun danced little patterns on her fair skin through the branches.
Aya sighed in content as she enjoyed the peace and quiet. It was very rare that she got to enjoy moments like these. Hollows had been attacking a lot more than usual and that had been taken a toll on her body as of recently so being able to relax like this was more than welcomed. She closed her eyes and just enjoyed the sounds of nature for a while.
