Make sure you’ve got a registered nick before you join the channel. If you already have a client, just use this link: irc://staticfree.foonetic.net/SoulXchat
If you don’t have a client, go down to the next post and get one.
SoulxSociety’s IRC channel is intended to be an easy place to relax and be a little less restrained than the cBox and site proper. If all goes well, I may even decide to work out a separate channel for RPing—as it stands, I doubt I’ll need to. Still, we have to abide by rules. Here they are:
Trolling, spam, flaming, and constantly linking to untagged NSFW is going to get you kicked. As in, kicked off the channel.
These rules are subject to edits as the need arises—and by no means do they cover everything. SxS's administration has the final say in matters in the channel, just like they do on-site.
(And a note to everyone who I talked with about this earlier: we can work IRC with or without the bot--I just wanted to have the channel and rules done before hand, since programming him will take a while.)

- First and foremost, Remember Wheaton’s Law. Don’t be a jerk.
- If we have to ask how old you are, you are doing it wrong. Conduct yourself maturely.
- If an Operator or Mod has to deal with someone, let them handle it. Unless you are a mod yourself, there is no need for you to muscle into the situation.
- For the love of all that is good—leave outside drama outside.
- Respect the Operators and Mods.
- Do not bring any bots into the channel. We'll have one, hopefully soon--He'll be maintained by either myself or someone I delegate him to.
- On that note, when the bot is online: avoid spamming it with commands to the point where it displaces conversation.
