{{This is another WoW story. This is a compilation between me and the person who played the other character listed in here. The second post will be their side of the story. Enjoy.}}
{{ I am prefacing this story with a disclaimer. Rather sad story contained within.}}
Monori stood there staring at the ruins of her home as the pandaren walked around her. The corpses of well over a dozen hozen lay beaten and broken around her. One of the pandaren yelled out for the others and Monori already knew what they had found. The body of her best friend and love lay inside impaled through the chest by a large splinter of wood the rest of her crushed beneath the half collapsed roof.
Monori had stolen away from the abbey earlier that day as she had a surprise for Dizzy. She finally decided to take the plunge as their friend Tsundre had so many months back. Inside of her pack was a ring made of gold with a draenei gem inside of its setting. Walking along the long winding path to her house she found it odd as it was so quiet in the area. Usually she would catch glimpses of the pandaren out working the fields but today it was off.
As she neared her home she began to notice a smoke trail rising into the sky. It was odd as Dizzy never used to burn anything when she was not around in case the fire got out of hand. Crowning a hill near the house she saw it and her eyes widened, mouth went dry, and her fists clenched in anger. About a dozen hozen where dancing about the ruins of her home. The home she and Dizzy had built with their own two hands with love and sweat.
The next few minutes where a blur to her as she remembers hearing a hozen scream as she landed a Serpent kick directly on the monkey’s neck snapping it loudly. The kick caused the monkey to go flying and spray his guts out on an overturned plow nearby. She spun the spear off her back and starting attacking the hozen with reckless abandon. Disemboweling the first hozen with a precise strike she threw her spear into the next that charged her. Moving to the third she spun bringing her heel to the face of the hozen shattering its jaw and making it swallow its own teeth.
Summoning up her anger in the form of the white tiger she struck out at the remaining hozen as they converged on her. Each of them finding death at her hands, each of them slaughtered in a bloody way as to make a point to others. Looking up as the last hozen fell to the earth; she heard a faint noise from within the ruins. Heading inside she saw Dizzy laying there, her chest pierced straight through with a large piece of wood and her lower body all but destroyed by the collapsed roof.
Tears welled in Monori’s eyes as she looked at her. She collapsed down onto the ground beside Dizzy and took her hand in her own. Speaking up her voice that was choking back hard fought tears.
“Dizzy, please don’t you be doing this to me.. I… I cannot live without you Diz. You have meant everything to me you set me free from the life I had previously. You.. You cant die…”
The tears filled her eyes as she leaned in to hear Dizzy speak to her faintly, weakly in barely above a whisper. She held onto the hand as she felt the strength and warmth she knew start to leave it and she saw Dizzy’s chest rise and fall for the last time. Letting out a loud mournful cry she let out tears that would not be silenced by any. She held the hand of Dizzy as she pulled out the small box and placed the ring onto her finger. Leaning down she placed a light kiss onto Dizzy’s lips as she cried the last few tears onto her face and she turned to leave the house. Taking a few small things from the house as she left. A simple flower, the few bits of jewelry she had seen the draenei wearing in the past, and her weapons. She was outside as the first pandaren walked up, her tears and demeanor scared the usually happy go lucky pandaren to stay back from her. Instead that pandaren began to put out the fire and move rubble around.
The pandarens screamed as she began to walk away from the house. They had brought out the body of Dizzy and she could not see her. Placing a hand on a helpful female pandaren she recognized that was a farmhand from the farm next door she spoke up quietly.
“Please… see to Dizzy’s body… I… I need to contact some people.”
With it said she took several steps away from her and pulled a small communication stone from her pocket and spoke up.
“Amalina, Tsuna, Tsundre… Something has happened at our farm… D… Dizzy is gone…”
With the words spoken she lowered her head and crumpled down onto her knees on the hardened dirt path. Her eyes dry of tears already as she could not see a path before her now that her light had been snuffed out so easily.
