  I. Introduction

Welcome to the introduction for 6th Division. Here you will find an overall statement regarding our duties, as well as a more detailed list. If you are skilled in Combat, and Training, please continue:

At it's core, The 6th Division is the most strict division in the entire Gotei 13, The Captain is Byakuya Kuchiki, Both Captain of the Rokubantai, And Head of the noble Kuchiki House. Respect is a must. 6th Divison is known for it's strict adherense to the rules and laws of Soul Society and are the Model Divison for all of the Gotei. Rule breakers are not tolerated in the sixth Division and Captain Kuchiki will make certain members caught breaking the rules will be strictly punished. Members of the division are also encouraged to always use proper greetings as this is the first foundation of a relationship

Below, our general duties are as follows, but are not limited to:

▪ Internal Investigations; of all squads, based on any/all rumors of suspicious activity. All findings must be reported to Captain Kuchiki, who will then pass information to the appropriate individuals [Lieutenant Abarai will, at least].

▪ Division Liaisons; to all squads, with 6th Division any Law-Breaker's or Rule-Breaker's are to be reported to Captain Kuchiki immediately, There are no exceptions. Anyone caught in attempting to assist in Breaking the law or rules or trying to cover up or hide a Law/Rule-breaker will be punished accordingly.

▪ Soul Society Order; maintaining overall order in Soul Society, including internal policing to make sure everyone follows the rules.

▪ One may not release their swords while in Seireitei, unless special war time orders are given or one is in the training grounds.
▪ All fights are all to be done in the training grounds and not in the open.
▪ Random scuffles in public areas between Shinigami are not appropriate, and must be stopped immediately.

▪ Soul Society Safety; during wartime our squad, 6th Division are the first one's on the front lines. We will fight to defend the Seireitei at all costs, Even if it costs our lives. We do not back down and we do not rush in recklessly.

As is the standard, every member is expected to follow the rules as dictated by Central 46. Those who do not abide by the rules may face such repercussions as [based on the severity of the illegal action/s]:

▪ Imprisonment
▪ Dishonorable discharge
▪ Exile
▪ Execution

Do not be phased, however, So long as you obey the rules and regulation's as well as the law's of the Soul Society you will be fine.

  V. Challenging a Seat

Everyone would like to progress, especially in a division based around growth and status (Aside from Canon Characters, Unless approved by Captain Kuchiki and a Mod/Admin). To this end, each member of 6th Division has permission to challenge another member for a seated position, and the challenged cannot deny them the opportunity - unless under certain circumstances, approved at the discretion of the Captain. Two outcomes generally occur following the challenge:

  Victory: The challenger wins against the higher seated member; the pair then exchange seats, with the winner replacing the higher seated member on the roster, and visa versa.

  Defeat: The challenger loses against the higher seated member; the pair have no change to the roster, but the challenger cannot request another seat challenge for one [1] month - regardless of the seat they want afterward.

For a challenge to be official, there must be a witness from the 6th Division, and this remains solely Captain Kuchiki's responsibility unless another is appointed by him in his stead. The Captain also reserves the right to deny a challenge, with reasons given.
