Here on SoulxSociety, playing as a captain-class character is not just about being strong. Leadership positions come with a lot of responsibility, so you should not attempt to apply for one unless you are prepared to be active and responsible for the organization or division you are leading. For the purposes of this thread, I will be using the Gotei divisions as my primary example, but these processes apply to all organizations with a hierarchy of superiors and underlings.
The "Leadership" Group
As a captain, you will be responsible for all activities and assignments to your division; you will be given authority over your division sub-board, with the ability to sticky, modify, lock, and bump threads therein, and will have complete control over your Division Roster and the ranks of your seated officers. However, as a captain, you will need to remain vigilant in keeping this roster updated and current, and see that all of the division's duties are addressed and accounted for, whether you attend to them yourself or delegate tasks to your underlings. We ask that you keep the seated officers listing in its traditional format, but you may create your own custom sub-units within your division, such as the 14th Advanced Relief team of 4th division, lead by Yamada Hanataro.
A leadership figure, especially a Gotei Captain, may be removed from their position if their duties as a captain are neglected, or if they are involved ICly or OOCly in conduct unfitting to a captain or leader in general. Particularly, any abuse of the Leadership member-group's moderating powers inside their division sub-board (Modifying another member's IC post, locking an IC thread without due justification, etc.) will result in the immediate removal of your character from his position, with other or IC penalties pending (worst case scenario, you will forfeit ownership of your character to us, the staff, and he/she will become a casualty in upcoming plot events)
Also, a character who was registered as a captain cannot leave their position IC without the staff's unanimous permission; this is to prevent captain-class characters from being created and running amok in the IC world. By creating a captain-class or leadership character, you agree to the above conditions and regulations, as well as any consequences that may befall you in breaking them, and acknowledge that they are subject to change as the story and situation changes here on SoulxSociety. Post the following in the bottom of your captain-class character's application as proof of your agreement.

Note: I encourage anyone who makes a leadership character to also make a character on the lower end of the power scale (like a human or an Academy graduate); this is because Captains and similar characters don't generally get much rp time.
