It was night within the soul society, and the shadows caste by the moonlight above seemed to bring the seireitei under a more menacing feel. Takashi pulled his body through the gates of the seireitei quietly, no one had noticed him thus far, so so far he was doing very good trying to carry out his objective. Quickly and quietly, Takashi made his way towards where his target was most certainly sleeping soundly. The last time he was here, he had only time to gather more information on the woman who had now become the main part of his plan since her power was great and she was as unstable as he was, so that would work to his advantage. From a young age, Kaoru Takahata had a darkness deep within her that her brother was so desperately trying to rid her of. While Takashi said that it would be better for her to explore her darker side, explore the limits for her power and expand them, the annoyingly gentle brother to the girl had always fought back against this, pushing it away quickly. Instead of letting the young girl work through her power on her own, Kyouya had sealed it away with a special kido he developed just for her. Takashi knew he had to break the seals before he could use her, but the seals were only renewed recently, so they could still be broken easily should he push hard enough. Of course, if recent information was correct, she had broken the first one on her own and soon to break the second.
Takashi had made his way towards the 5th division, careful not to draw any attention towards himself. He had made sure it was just him this time, none of Enigma's shadows had followed him. To make matters more clear, when they had started to follow him towards the seireitei, he had not even released his shikai and ice began to form on them to stop them in their tracks. He left without even glancing their way. His zanpakto swords hung at his side as he ran. He pushed up his glasses up and soon jumped the wall that brought him closer to the 5th division. The last time he had been in the seireitei, he had run into Hirato Murano, the captain of the 9th division, and gave him a message for an old friend of his. Takashi was only 5 years older than Kyouya, so the two of them had known each other for about 4 hundred years when they were within the seireitei. He knew he had a power disadvantage against a captain-class fighter, but he had the knowledge and speed to outrun his opponent, as well as give them the slip with some tricks up his sleeves.
Takashi was nearly there, but stopped when he was close to the barracks gates. Sighing, his breath was visible with the release of some of his power, the air around him grew colder with the element he wielded so masterfully in his hands. He pulled out his swords and held them at the ready, releasing his shikai for the purpose of freezing the guards in the place so as not to give warning. Takashi had already hidden his spiritual pressure at this point, so it was easy to use his power without giving his presence away. "Freeze them, Shi no Toketsu Ryujin," Takashi said evenly as he put the hilts of the two swords together and the weapon glows blue. The light eventually breaks and soon in it's place was a large scythe with a long black chain connected to it. The air around Takashi grew colder and soon his breath could be seen again. The guards realized something was wrong, but it was too late. Takashi narrowed his gaze and soon froze the water within the air around the guards, freezing them in place and covering them fully so they couldn't call for help. Satisfied with his work, he sealed his shikai, the ice still in place on the guards, and soon returned the two black bladed swords with a crystal edge back into their sheaths.
"Time to get down to business then," Takashi said to himself as he turned his cold gaze towards the 5th division. He knew that she slept on the second floor with her teammates, but what he had planned for the first phase of his revenge was to just chip away at the mind of the young woman. He knew if he pushed hard enough, she'd delve into the darkness that she had kept deep within herself. Soon enough she'd see that he was still alive and now coming for her. Takashi could only smirk in amusement as he imagined Kyouya's reaction. That fool has kept her tame for far too long; let's let the beast out of her cage.
