Kaoru's more darker and wild side was pleased with the situation, while the other side of Kaoru, the shy and nervous part of her, had started to beg her to stop and run away from this while she still could. With her speed, she could get into the onsen, dressed, and running home to her barracks before he even could walk to the door. Her speed was everything she was about, and she prized that as one of her best attributes out of her skills. With her mask down, she had moved the situation along a road that she never thought was possible for her to be on without such restraints that she has placed upon herself daily. While she may not like to put on her mask, it was a necessity that made it possible for Kaoru to live and perform her duties within the seireitei without too much trouble. For without it, Kaoru was a completely different person and acted much worse than her little outbursts from time to time. No, her mask was created to hold back the rage and sorrow that will one day consume her, if not sooner. However, there were instances like these that completely flipped the effect of having her mask stripped off of her. This meant that instead of the enraged and maddened Kaoru, they got a more shy and nervous Kaoru; sometimes she would have confidence, but this was only in small bursts. She wasn't exactly a calm and polite individual, but she wouldn't be able to stop her actions and words once they flowed from her mouth. In this she mirrors her own zanpakto who has no flood gates when it comes to words or emotions.
As Kaoru had kissed the Captain a second time, softly and nervously, she had begun to wonder if she could simply pause the moment and just enjoy what she was feeling now. Kaoru never felt like this before and she certainly didn't know what she was doing when it came to more than just kissing on the lips of another. She was rather young in that mindset, so she was at a standstill with what to do next. Her face was still red, but her blue eyes started to show peacefulness and contentment in this situation rather than her earlier shyness and nervous nature. Kaoru sighed softly again as he returned her kiss just as she had returned his moments ago. A slight smile lit her face before a nervous frown made her loose focus. He had guided her back into the water as he took her hand. Kaoru flushed brighter at this. Kaoru looked into his cerulean eyes with her blue ones and gently traced another pattern on his cheek. When he had asked her to call him by his first name, Kaoru's hand stopped for a moment before she had to look away.
A split second decision was all it took before she frowned at the Captain before answering softly. "I-I can't...You are my superior..." Kaoru stated quietly while she looked down slightly. Her mind warred with itself over this in a matter of moments. Eventually, the darker and more confident side of Kaoru won out. "But...if you ask that of me...then...yes, H-Hirato," Kaoru squeezed her eyes shut for a moment as she let his name sink in. He had kissed her again, but more passionately than before. Kaoru tried to keep up, but past this point it was all new territory for her. She felt his hand running through her hair and she loved the feel of that movement. It seemed like hours to her when he had gradually deepened the kiss and she followed suit. Her right hand had rested itself on his chest while her left hand had rested upon his cheek and gently moved her thumb over it. He felt his hand on her own cheek and her head automatically turned to lean into it as her eyes closed tightly. He had linked hands with intertwined his fingers in hers; Kaoru answered this with a small squeeze of her hand in his.
He had moved to her neck and this set Kaoru a little bit on edge as this was new to her. However, her body began to relax as Hirato had expertly kissed her neck passionately. Kaoru gasped softly as he did so and had moved her free hand through his hair and then trace small pattens on his exposed back that she could reach. "H-Hirato..." Kaoru mumbled softly as she folded under his touch. Her mind raced with what had seemed to unfold from this situation and she desperately wished that nobody show up or else she would be embarrassed that she let her actions take her so far and her mask would immediately come back up with the presence of another. However, her other reason for wishing nobody showed up was so that this could continue, which she would not voice aloud for any reason whatsoever. Kaoru merely enjoyed the moment as it was and wanted to savor it.
Lifting the crimson-haired man's head to hers, she took a moment to look into his cerulean eyes before kissing him on the lips again. However, this time she tried to add a bit more passion within it instead of her shy and nervous kisses from before. I wonder, would this man accept the other dangerous side of me without my mask? Kaoru asked herself as that question burned within her mind, and she was sure that it wouldn't be answered here with what they were doing now. No, this question would be answered much later when she had to show this man what she could do in battle. Her eyes seemed to shadow some of her darker thoughts, but this was quickly pushed away as she lost herself within his touch and kisses.
