The Gotei have emerged from a long and bloody Civil War within the Seireitei and the Rukon. Five centuries ago the Soitaicho Xiaoyu Demizu and her Fukotaicho Kimiko Demizu found out that the ruling body of the Central Forty Six had become corrupt. The Rebels who numbered but in the thousands came to the crater and began construction of a memorial to all those who had lost their lives in the conflict. Most notably the two Soitaichos that had triggered the very war they had just ended. Now with the war being over the leader of the Rebels passed away leaving the bloodied hakama that was the symbol of the Gotei to her eldest daughter Lhin who now is in charge of the Gotei and tasked with leading them out from the ruins they where within.
Many have risen and many have fallen during the Gotei’s Civil War but there has been but a few constants. The Tres Beasts roaming the sands in honor of their Reyes. Along with them the elite squadrons of Grimmjow roamed the sands for four centuries as the Gotei imploded, but then one day they stopped. No one knows what happened to the former Espada. Those so strong they said could suck the very light from the air about them when their powers where used. Now the sands stir restlessly. Those afraid to show their face for the previous century are now emerging. Stronger Adjuncha’s clawing around trying to find the rumored source of the power of the Reyes within the ruins of the White City.
However by comparison the old ruins that was once Aizen's kingdom whilst in Heuco Mundo has had some presence dwelling from within. Neither Hollow or Arrancar dare trespass however due to the reiatsu emitting from it's once proud walls. What threat could be looming within the former citadel of power...
During the Shinigami's absence from the Human realm, Hollows have grown unchecked, the Quincies just as much as they hold much dominance over the realm of man as the last defenders against the hollows. Feeling that the Shinigami have abandoned mankind the Quincies have had no issue or opposition crushing any pockets of resistance with their newfound allies the Fullbringers.
However the Fullbringers feel that despite the lack of Shinigami within the world the threat of Hollow and Arrancar alike have risen. Local rural towns decimated within hours as many once ruins of mankind have become desolate holds for Hollow factions.
However during all of this two amongst a handful of others from a past long since forgotten have awoken and seized opportunity during the detonation of the Sokyokyou Hill. The names forgotten by the sands of time however with the mishap and under sight by the Shinigami this darker shadow from the past will need to be addressed before it surely spoils ruin to all fronts, Hollow, Quincy, Shinigami and Human alike.

She smiled at the cerulean-eyed man, a beaming expression of gratitude as he gave his assent. She was admitted! How wonderful! ”Why, thank you. Might I ask what the cause for celebration is?” The question was unnecessary, but she would much rather be considered an airhead than arouse suspicion. As she awaited an answer, should one come, a teenage girl approached; this girl was one whom Beatrice had seen a few times before. She was from Karakura town—the realization made her heart sink nervously. ”I am not Tamano-san; My name is Beatrice. I don’t believe we have met?”
The sudden arrival of “Tamano-san” gave her quite a fright, but she was kind and bubbly, the perfect sort to host a party of such scale, and the guests kept coming. The next was an admittedly beautiful woman, obviously an Arrancar but just as bubbly as Tamano-san. She knew the man that Beatrice stood beside—was he an Arrancar as well? Such a thing seemed impossible! Beatrice smiled with fake enthusiasm at the new arrival. ”Beatrice D’Maestoso. Allow me to thank you personally for your gift of drink!” She rarely drank soda, but she figured that a celebration was a fine time to do so.
The beach was slowly beginning to fill, both with party-goers and tourists from abroad. The morning was blazing to life as they spoke! It was really a lovely thing. Beatrice gave a late nod to the orange-haired woman who had just arrived (another from Karakura, she noted), and took a seat of her own in a vacant chair to watch the festivities.

Though Kasumi was surprised to see the preoccupied hostess suddenly appear by their little gathering, she was glad of the welcome and the reassurance that she was in the right place. “Alright! Thanks Tamano-san, this is gonna be one hell of a party!” Well, hopefully, but she wasn’t discounting anything yet. Another beautiful woman with minty green-blue hair joined the fray, adding to the eye-candy. They all looked stunning in their swim wear, obviously having made the effort. She couldn’t understand why all of the men here seemed rather uninterested, except for the masked enigma who had been abandoned by the sun bed, so she supposed she would have to pick up their slack. Just as her mind had threatened to wander however, she felt a strong pair of hands wrap around her from behind and grinned as the familiar voice introduced herself.
“I thought you were gonna miss it, sleepy butt!” Kasumi spun in her arms, pouncing excitedly to knock the woman into the sand. The watermelon fell by the wayside but was fortunately undamaged. Though she remained straddling the shinigami beneath her, she looked up to listen as the mysterious woman spoke politely to Ame and then meandered over to perch upon a sunbed, watching them from afar.
With a curious expression she returned her attention back to Fumiko, smirking slyly as she kissed her playfully on the nose. “There’s something… off about that fancy lady. I know I’ve seen her before…” She whispered her thoughts into her ear, stroking her magnificent golden mane distractedly.

The shadow clung to Hirato's form, protecting him from the unforgiving sun as well as shielding him against interaction with others, at least it had until this suspicious human appeared in their midst, celebrating a war fought to defend them and a victory compensated for by Shinigami blood. Still relaxing on the chair, he said, "It's the anniversary of the end of the Winter War," his tone disinterested, yet not influenced by the annoyance he was experiencing simply at her presence and that of Arrancar, neither of whom belonged here. Slowly, he began to drift off, his mind only pondering the internal struggles and perceptions rather than the bothersome events occurring in the external realm. A familiar voice, the light, soothing tones immediately recognizable connected to the powerful, yet gentle reiatsu signature brought him away from his dispassionate musings and back in full awareness to the physical world.
Cerulean eyes widened while he glanced away so that she would be unable to witness his intense surprise. That outfit only magnified her beauty, causing his mind to venture to dangerous places, ideas and desires limited to the thoughts of the subconscious that could not be fulfilled in reality. Hirato stood up, quickly pulling on his sandals before resting the slightly wrinkled form of his shirt over his shoulders, his muscular form moving gracefully to the location of Neliel-san. Although it was not apparent outwardly, his emotions were overpowering his logic, a rare event that made anything and everything swirling in his mind seem plausible. Thoughts of excluding Arrancar from this gathering left behind in his former resting place, the newest Captain warmly greeted his magnificent Arrancar acquaintance. "Welcome, Neliel-san," Hirato said in a pleasant tone, flashing her one of his momentary smiles. This event would certainly be extremely interesting, especially with her arrival. While Chikao played the game alongside his Lieutenant, his colleague would be continuing it, a beautiful green haired woman serving as his companion.

He had sworn long, long ago that his feelings would not impede his judgement, not again. And yet he was allowing this now. Why? Why had he been so foolish as to think she felt the same way? Perhaps he was just too old for someone as young and beautiful as Ame-ue, too much like a father, an older brother. If that was truly how she viewed him, should he shatter that glass? Would it make her unhappy? As he failed to take control of his own thoughts, he simply sat there, motionless without a sound, staring at the shifting sands at his feet. Sometimes he wished the wastelands hadn't taken away his ability to cry, maybe then these emotions would simply be released. But they were here, haunting him again.
No.
He had to show her.
A shadow passed over his eyes yet again, a husk of walking determination. Naught else passed through his mind but the sound of his steps absorbing into the soft sand. This was it. Either he ruined his one chance at love or he secured it. In a battle situation this would have been a risk not worth taking but his love for Ame was different. There was something compelling him to keep walking, carrying him forward, his hands still slightly slick from the lotion.
Without a second thought, he scooped her up into a hold usually reserved for the damsel in a fantasy movie. Not that he had ever seen any of course. He could feel her warmth through his clothes, not wanting this moment to end. In a brisk and halting voice, almost hostile and protective he spoke to the other guests.
"I'm afraid Tamano-ue and I have some business. Please enjoy yourselves until we return."
Without a second though he disappeared, still carrying her in his arms, reappearing behind the rocks on the eastern side of the beach, where no one could see, setting her down gently before taking a few steps back, staring out into the ocean thoughtfully.
"I'm sorry Tamano-ue... but... I can't hold onto these feelings any longer... I'm sorry, truly I am..."
“Hirato-kun!” Running up to the red-maned lion and the beautiful woman standing next to him, she lunged onto his back with a kapow! Laughing, she nuzzled his wonderful crimson hair and smiled upon him. “I’m happy to see you here!” She stayed there for a minute, green on top of red, hoping their colors would one day blur together for eternity, before jumping off of him and turning to the woman next to him. Catching her breath for a mere moment, she took the woman’s hand and shook it vigorously like she had her own fire in her hand. “Hello Beatrice; I absolutely adore your swimsuit! My name is Neliel Tu Odelschwanck and I’m very glad you enjoy the soda. Drink up!” Nel wanted to laud the woman for her fancy manner of speaking, but she immediately dismissed it. She loved people and she loved becoming part of their world: she wanted to ask Beatrice a thousand questions about who she was, where she was from, and what she classified herself as. Meeting new people and caring for people was the highlight of Nel’s day! She resisted however, in hopes of being polite; even though, any hopes of being polite may have already been blown away. She was far too bubbly! She hoped she didn’t scare the beautiful woman already! “Australian soda,” she said to the woman, drawing her closer in with a wink, “Maybe if I drink enough of it I’ll adopt their accent!” she said with a laugh.
To see Fumiko-chan again was to fill Neliel’s melting heart with the most gracious of love. She loved Kurosaki’s kids like she loved her Itsygo, a love grateful, deep, and infinite as this ocean. She flashed her a smile as wide as the sun itself before ecstatically throwing up her hand and waving to her. It had been far too long since Neliel conversed with Fumiko-chan; one day, she conversed with her in the air of peace, and years later Neliel was miles deep in Hueco’s Munduo’s sand, preparing for war! Funny, the way things are sometimes! Nonetheless, Neliel felt extremely thankful to see the young Kurosaki happy and as beautiful as she had ever seen her. She noted the other beautiful lady next to her, and smiled at her too; she would have to meet this young woman too and make her a friend; something in her sweet demeanor about her appealed to Neliel, and she imagined that she would love to befriend her and learn more about her. The ex-third turned back around to her company at the moment, thinking of what she could say to her Fumiko-chan later.
“Look over there,” she whispered to both Hirato and Beatrice with her eyes wide as she watched the Captain carry his Lieutenant in his arms like a scene in a storybook fairytale. “Love on the beach!” She laughed again; today was turning out to be the most wondrous of all days! More and more people gathered on their lovely little spot and she smiled at the thought of all the new friends she would meet today. Her ultimate goal was to ease the tension of the Arrancar race with the humans, Quincies, and Shinigami; she hoped she was beginning to somewhat accomplish this endeavor. Inside, she was ultimately grateful to Tamano-san, the voluptuous woman being carried away, for organizing this rendezvous act of genius. She hoped that when Chikao and her finished, she would be able to approach the both of them and quell relations even further. Happy that Hirato-kun was here, she knew that she needed to go further and know more captains and Arrancar alike. Today was her day to meet new friends and make new alliances!

Before he could even respond, Nel-san had thrown herself at him, slamming into his back and knocking him down, caught off guard by the sudden action. Their hair, crimson and green, intertwined for a few beautiful moments, and he would have laughed if not for the lack of air that seemed to plague him. Thankfully, she moved off of him rather quickly, giving him allowance to rub his back with a slight grimace. "Ow," he muttered under his breath, his back quickly recovering from the incident. Standing up, Hirato watched the energetic woman greet the human and making small talk about "soda", whatever that was. He classified it as irrelevant and continued his observations, watching as Nel-san gazed at a orange haired woman, obviously greeting her, as well. It was fascinating, truly fascinating, to wonder what lay behind the depths of those hazel orbs, what secrets and passions remained hidden away just below the surface.
His cerulean eyes peered with a mixture of amusement and mild interest when Nel-san pointed out the Captain carrying away his lieutenant, no doubt for some carnal pleasure. Was becoming romantically involved with a subordinate a trend among the Captains now? First, Captain Ise had fallen prey to the forbidden affection and now Genkei-san, the last person he would have expected to be vulnerable to such desires. They were following a dangerous path, one that twisted and turned constantly, leading away from the road of reason into ever more blind passions, corrupting one's sense and stripping them of their most powerful ability: the ability to make decisions rationally. However, he would not inform Demizu-sama until it affected their ability to make logical choices, which was simply a matter of time. Then, he would be forced to reveal their darkest secrets, dragging them into the light for all to see.
He sighed slightly, despising the inevitability of the task almost as much as the necessity of it. Glancing at Neliel, her words brought a curious idea into the forefront of his mind, one he would have to follow carefully for it to reach its magnificent conclusion. "It is certainly interesting, isn't it? I suppose the relaxed nature of this gathering could bring forth some latent desires." he said, his voice full of mystery and veiled implications that he hoped she would perceive, if only for the sake of the match. His turn was finished, and he simply awaited her response, expecting it to be excellent and fascinating, characteristic of the green haired woman whom he now stood beside. Perhaps there was more meaning to his words than even he was aware of, and yet the thought only interested him all the more. He was walking down an obscure path, and what lay at the end could be bright sunshine or bitter rain, depending on how he tread through the labyrinth.
