She felt a little twinge of regret about being there and being unable to show the subtle changes that Ryou seemed to be able to do. As her face was still covered by the bone mask of her unreleased state. This state was easier for her to maintain as it continued to keep her sealed and kept the Tres and herself from being attacked at random intervals. As strength within the Sands usually meant someone would be coming to always trying to kill you and take your strength as their own.
To herself she wished for a day that she did not have to raise the banner of war and instead could bring peace over the hollows that had sentience. All those that could understand and could follow along underneath her banner would find a place to call their own. As she would only ever want to find a safe and quiet place to be safe at, as it was the one thing she had never felt safe anywhere. Looking at Ryou directly in the eyes she smiled at him as she just held his face.
When the purring sound came from him once again the bone mask parted a little as the muscles on her face showed that she was smiling widely. It was everything for her to be able to push Ryou gently around and to twist him about her finger. Though as she did this to him she felt him burrowing into her heart and finding a place within it. Unknown to her was Ryou’s thoughts as she absentmindedly moved her hand and pushed a little bit of the man’s hair out of the way and past his ear. The Tres had gotten the hint as they had watched Ryou and had already left the seating room returning to their own rooms.
When Ryou spoke up and then quieted himself as she looked out and saw that the room was empty now. Closing her eyes she had an idea of what it is that Ryou was going to say. There was a feeling in her gut as she heard the words spoken to her. The blush slowly showing up passed her bone mask so that Ryou could see it. Her hand moved to his shoulder and gave it another gentle squeeze as her eyes looked out into the room. Noticing the Tres long gone she struggles to find the way to describe her feelings. Though Ryou’s own words resounded within her mind as her eyebrow raised and her voice echoed up just for the two of them to hear.
“Love? What is this love you speak about Ryou? As I… cannot comprehend what it is that word means. All I have known is the harsh uncaring and sacrifice I have had to give up over the years. Would that be this feeling I have in my chest. The one where I feel as if I lost you or any of the Tres I would not be complete? IF I lost them I would lose my family… but if I lost you I feel as if I would lose something I… cannot explain.”
Hearing Ryou speak about going somewhere more private she kept her eyebrow raised as she looked at him. An idea in her mind that she might of known what would happen should they do that. Glancing about to see the Tres had walked out as she moved Ryou and stood beside the couch. Reaching her hand back to help him up to walk beside him and toward the room he had been laid within as it was Hallibel’s own room. Upon entering the room she walked over to the copy of the sofa she had in the main room she had in her own room she flopped down on it and spoke up.
“Ok Ryou… we are alone. What is it that you wish to tell me that you cannot say while we are in the public space?”
It was obvious she was relaxing more now that she was alone away from the Tres. It seemed that she had let down her guard if only slightly to the man while she was laying there on the sofa.
“Whenever I bring you here you can always speak freely and tell me exactly what you want… As I want to try and understand what this love you speak about is.”
